Products in our Eco collection consist of at least 70% organic or recycled materials. To verify material content, our supplier collects valid certificates from manufacturers. As proof of the organic composition of apparel products, only GOTS or OCS are accepted as certificates, while GRS or RCS are accepted for a product's recycled composition.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent third-party certification of the entire textile supply chain. This standard also sets limitations on other fibers that can be blended with organic fibers.
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a certification for non-food goods that confirms the organic material presence in the final product. It also follows the supply chain from its source to the final product.
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) are international, voluntary standards that set requirements for third-party certification of recycled content and supply chain. The shared goal of the standards is to increase the use of recycled materials. The GRS includes additional criteria for social and environmental processing requirements and chemical restrictions.
Are your products vegan?
All items in our catalog are free of animal products, and a few items from our Eco collection are also PETA-Approved Vegan. If the product carries a PETA-Approved Vegan certificate, it’s mentioned in the product description.
How are your products packaged?
All of our apparel products are packed in post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic mailers, with at least 50% for the outside (white or grey) poly mailer bags and at least 30% for the inside (clear) bags used in multi-item shipments.
PCR packaging is made from common items like used plastic bags and bottles. It protects your order just like a regular plastic bag would, however, choosing PCR over first-use plastics reduces the environmental impact plastic has on our planet.
